1972-2010: Grazie Scorpions

Dopo 38 anni i rockers tedeschi decidono di appendere le asce al chiodo. E lo fanno nel migliore dei modi, con un cd di gran classe. Non il migliore degli album (gli anni '80 ahimè sono lontani) ma resta un lavoro di classe cristallina e degno della loro storia


Ci (mi) mancherete, le vostre canzoni mi accompagnano da quando avevo 16 anni, e sono convinto che me le porterò fino alla tomba.
Sono davvero triste, ma molto meglio un'uscita di scena in gran stile che un lento declino.

Ricordo che gli Scorpions furono il primo gruppo dell'Ovest a suonare in Unione Sovietica (1988), e che successivamente parteciparono al concerto tenutosi a Berlino per celebrare la caduta del muro (1990)

Davvero una bella band.
Non rivoluzionaria, ma senza dubbio significativa nella storia dell'hard/metal/rock.

Si perchè loro, come poche altre band dell'epoca, si sono infilate nella stretta nicchia musicale posta tra l'hard rock anni 70 e l'havy metal anni 80, non tradendo mai un'appartenenza netta!

Ricordo ancora BLACK OUT messa a palla nel mio salotto durante il finale, dove si sente un fragorosa rottura di vetri così reale che mia mamma accorreva allarmata ogni volta!!

Ho cominciato ad ascoltare musica grazie a loro, bravissimi nel creare refrain che ti colpiscono all'istante e grande energia nei pezzi e poi la voce di Meine è unica!!!!!
