Heather Thomas

Heather Thomas, (Heather Anne Thomas) (Greenwich, 8 settembre 1957),
è un'attrice, scrittrice e sceneggiatrice statunitense,
conosciuta dal pubblico italiano per la parte di Jody Banks, nella serie tv d'azione: Professione pericolo (113 episodi dal 1981 al 1986) al fianco di Lee Majors e Douglas Barr.

Heather Thomas si è diplomata alla Santa Monica High School nel 1975, proseguì gli studi alla prestigiosa UCLA Film School laureandosi nel 1979.
Nel 1984 l'attrice ha avuto problemi di dipendenza dalla cocaina; Lee Majors e i produttori di Professione pericolo la incitarono a smettere altrimenti il telefilm avrebbe fatto a meno di lei.
In quegli anni ha anche avuto un incidente stradale, che le ha fatto rischiare l'amputazione delle gambe, situazione poi normalizzata da più di 30 operazioni chirurgiche. In quel periodo comincia a scrivere.

È sposata dal 1992 con Harry M.(Skip) Brittenham (avvocato) ed ha una figlia: India Rose nata nel giugno 2000. La coppia vive tra Santa Monica e Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Heather Thomas has been acting since 1979 when she appeared in "Co-Ed Fever", the television series. Perhaps her most notable acting role was in "The Fall Guy" (1981).
