WWE Champion "The New" Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles vs. Jeff Hardy vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Randy Orton vs. Samoa Joe (Elimination Chamber Match)
At WWE Elimination Chamber, "The New" Daniel Bryan will defend the WWE Championship against AJ Styles, Randy Orton, Samoa Joe, Jeff Hardy and The New Day’s Kofi Kingston inside the dreaded Elimination Chamber.
The initial announcement came on the heels of the chaotic Royal Rumble pay-per-view, where Bryan survived Styles’ challenge thanks to the surprise arrival of Rowan. When the referee was inadvertently knocked down by an errant kick from AJ, Rowan rushed into the ring to smash Styles to bits with a menacing chokeslam, allowing Bryan to pin his opponent as the referee recovered for the three-count.
Two days later on SmackDown LIVE, The Phenomenal One emerged to take issue with Bryan’s tactics, only to be interrupted by a slew of the blue brand’s elite Superstars looking to stake their claim for an opportunity to challenge The Beard. Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe and Mustafa Ali soon joined the fray, and a snide comment from The Samoan Submission Machine to The Phenomenal One ignited an out-of-control melee between all five Superstars.
Bryan refused to face any of the competitors on the ground that they were all “fickle,” but WWE COO Triple H soon joined the party and informed the outspoken titleholder that he would face all of them inside the career-altering combat zone!
However, after Rowan sent Ali crashing through the announce table during a wild altercation on the blue brand, the up-and-coming Superstar was no longer medically cleared to compete inside the Chamber. As a result, The New Day were granted the right to decide which member would take his place, and the “positive” reinforcement turned out to be none other than the high-flying Kingston.
In the Elimination Chamber, two competitors will start the bout while the remaining four Superstars remain enclosed in pods. At specified intervals, a pod will open at random, enabling a Superstar to enter the match. This will continue until all six of the combatants have joined the bout.
After emerging victorious in a Gauntlet Match between the Elimination Chamber combatants on SmackDown LIVE, Randy Orton earned the right to be the last Superstar to enter the career-altering contest.
Any Superstar can be eliminated at any time via pinfall or submission and must leave the chamber. The last Superstar standing will be the WWE Champion.

The Elimination Chamber Match to crown the first-ever Women’s Tag Team Champions
As first announced by five-time Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss during her Raw talk show “A Moment of Bliss,” the inaugural WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions will be determined inside the dreaded Elimination Chamber at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view on Sunday, Feb. 17.
The contest will feature three teams from Raw and three teams from SmackDown LIVE. Nia Jax & Tamina earned their way into the match with a victory over Bliss & Mickie James on Raw the night after the Royal Rumble event. Later that night, Liv Morgan & Sarah Logan joined them in the contest by taking down Natalya & Dana Brooke.
The following night on SmackDown LIVE, Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville became the first blue brand team to be officially accepted into the Elimination Chamber. Over the following weekend, The IIconics' Billie Kay & Peyton Royce tweeted that they had also been accepted into the match.
Despite a pre-match ambush from Alicia Fox & Nikki Cross that sidelined Sasha Banks, Bayley almost single-handedly made sure that she and The Boss overcame their unhinged opponents to become the third and final Raw tandem to earn its way into the nightmarish structure, leaving just one SmackDown spot to be filled.
Prior to SmackDown the following night, Carmella & Naomi announced that they had been accepted as the final tag team to participate in the history-making championship bout.

It was extremely fitting that the announcement was made by The Goddess of WWE, as Bliss won the first-ever Women’s Elimination Chamber Match in 2018, toppling five other Superstars and successfully defending the Raw Women’s Championship inside the career-altering combat zone that debuted in 2002.
This time around, Sasha Banks & Bayley and Mandy Rose & Sonya Deville will start the bout, while the remaining four duos remain enclosed in pods. At specified intervals, a pod will open at random, enabling a new team to enter the match. This will continue until all six pairs have joined the bout. If one member of a team gets eliminated at any time via pinfall or submission, both members of the team are eliminated and must leave the contest. The last tag team standing will be declared the winner and the first-ever Women’s Tag Teams Champions.

Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Ruby Riott
At the WWE Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, Ruby Riott will dare to step into the squared circle against Ronda Rousey, with the Raw Women’s Championship on the line, in the hopes of reading the Riott act to the fierce titleholder before she can ever set foot onto The Grandest Stage of Them All.
On Monday Night Raw, Rousey was irate after her would-be WrestleMania opponent Becky Lynch refused to get checked out by WWE medical personnel and was suspended. The Baddest Woman on the Planet opted to take out her frustrations on The Riott Squad by making Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan tap out to the Armbar in back-to-back matchups.
Though it looked for a moment as if The Rowdy One may tangle with the third member of the devious trio as well, Riott backed down at the last second, claiming later that she had chosen to tend to her injured friends instead.
Will the “unbreakable bond” between the nefarious faction help Riott conquer the unrelenting Rousey and forge her own path into The Showdown of the Immortals? Find out at WWE Elimination Chamber, Sunday, Feb. 17, at 7 ET/4 PT on the award-winning WWE Network.
SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Miz & Shane McMahon vs. The Usos
Against all odds and maybe some initial better judgments, The Miz & Shane McMahon clawed their way to the top of SmackDown’s Tag Team division by dethroning The Bar at the Royal Rumble, validating The A-Lister’s claims that they were “The Best Tag Team in the World.” Unfortunately, they’re about to go up against a tandem that long since staked a claim on that moniker, without the quotes.
The Usos — SmackDown’s longest-tenured tag team and arguably its most dominant — will challenge the “Co-Besties” for the blue tandem titles at WWE Elimination Chamber, having won the honor in a Four Corners Tag Team Elimination Match that pitted Jimmy & Jey against The Bar, The New Day and Heavy Machinery. In an ironic, potentially disastrous twist, it was Shane-O-Mac who suggested that idea in the first place, which makes sense in a certain light: He was the SmackDown Commissioner for two years, and he worked hard to turn Team Blue into The Land of Opportunity.
With his & Miz’s pride and joy up for grabs against a dangerous tandem, he may well regret giving the nod to the two brothers who can turn their dream run into a very, very rude awakening.

Intercontinental Champion Bobby Lashley & Lio Rush vs. Finn Bálor (Handicap Match)
At WWE Elimination Chamber, Finn Bálor will get his opportunity to accomplish an extraordinary feat: to lay claim to the Intercontinental Championship by way of overcoming the nefarious team of Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush in a Handicap Match.
Weeks ago, Bálor suffered two brutal back-to-back beatdowns in a 24-hour period, first at the hands of Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble after an unsuccessful bid to dethrone The Beast, and then the following night on Raw courtesy of Lashley, who hit three consecutive spinebusters on his unfortunate rival during an in-ring confrontation.
The Extraordinary Man Who Can Do Extraordinary Things picked himself back up one week later and prepared to take on “The All Mighty” one-on-one on Raw in hopes of earning an opportunity to challenge Lashley for his illustrious title.
Shortly after Rush inevitably mocked Bálor prior to the contest, however, Lashley suggested that Finn should face someone “his own size.” That’s when the Intercontinental Champion came up with the idea that his scheduled opponent should instead face Rush, with the caveat that the titleholder would consider giving him a championship match if The Extraordinary Man put on a good show. Once Bálor emerged victorious against the cruiserweight mouthpiece, the wheels were immediately set in motion for a future Intercontinental Championship collision, but perhaps not exactly in the manner that the Irish Superstars had envisioned.
The following week, an exclusive video revealed that Bálor will finally get his Intercontinental Title Match at WWE Elimination Chamber in a Handicap Match against Lashley and the outspoken Rush. And if Finn can pin either Lashley or Rush or make one of them submit, he will capture the championship for the first time in his career.
That highly anticipated title bout will take place this Sunday at WWE Elimination Chamber, streaming live at 7 ET/4 PT on WWE Network!
Braun Strowman vs. Baron Corbin (No Disqualification Match)
Will Baron Corbin get these hands? Or will Braun Strowman learn a thing or two about underestimating the former Raw Acting General Manager? At WWE Elimination Chamber, it’s monster vs. wolf when Braun Strowman gets hands on Baron Corbin.
Not only that, but per the McMahon Family, this Sunday's duel between Strowman and Corbin will now be a No Disqualification Match!
Following months of aggression, which included Corbin, Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley shattering Strowman’s elbow with a savage assault, the raging war between Strowman and Corbin will combust at WWE Elimination Chamber. After the events of WWE TLC, there has been no love lost between The Monster Among Men and The Lone Wolf. To start off the year, Corbin cost Strowman his Universal Title Match and left him with a $100,000 fine by way of some nefarious mind games. The rivalry got uglier on the Jan. 28 edition of Raw, when Corbin and McIntyre plopped The Gift of Destruction atop the steel steps with a double chokeslam. However, retribution was served a week later when Strowman fired back with his own steely attack and sent each Superstar crashing onto those same steps.
With months of pent-up rage, there’s no telling what level of destruction awaits these bitter rivals, especially now that the McMahon Family has added the wrinkle of making it a No Disqualification Match. Who will vanquish his longtime foe? Find out this Sunday at 7 ET/4 PT, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.
